Catherine the Great

Catherine the Great – The German Iron Lady on the Russian Throne

Catherine was born in 1729 as German princess Sophie Auguste Friederike of Anhalt-Zerbst-Dornburg in the North of Germany.

The ambitious princess knew what she wanted and she wanted power. With a clever coup d’état she made her way to the top of the Russian Empire and became one of the most powerful women in history. She did not fear to kill and to use her influence whenever she could. Trying to present a spotless picture to the rest of Europe, she exploited the country and the men around her. A most interesting character who will take you to the golden age of the Russian Empire!
